In order to attest and qualify for 2012 MU grants, eligible professionals must be utilizing an ONC-ATCB Certified Complete EHR by October 1, 2012. The attestation period for 2012 is any given 90-day period between January 1 and December 31, 2012. Beginning in 2013 and beyond, the attestation period is for a complete calendar year.
MedTech offers a Certified Complete EHR especially for doctors and chiropractors. It collects the necessary data for attestation whether you work in a hospital or outside of the hospital. To receive stimulus money for attesting for meaningful use of an EHR, you must be working outside of the hospital.

7 weeks remaining: For providers who are attesting for their first time, October 3, 2012 marks the last day to begin your 90-day reporting period for Meaningful Use Stage 1 for the 2012 calendar year. Providers are encouraged to attest for stage 1 in 2012 to be eligible for the $5000 ‘early adopter’ bonus payment. We provide consulting services to assist our customers in reaching Stage 1 Meaningful Use, however due to the 2012 deadline approaching; we are encouraging any customers needing these services to contact us as soon as possible.
