McKesson PPS ePrescribing Notification

This communication serves as the first notification that the highlighted FAX ONLY Mail Order pharmacies (see far below) will no longer be available via the Surescripts network after September 30th, 2011. The equivalent ELECTRONIC Mail Order Pharmacies remain available and are listed below for your convenience. In order to ensure successful transmission to these Mail Order Pharmacies, New prescriptions must be sent to these ELECTRONIC Mail Order Pharmacies through the Surescripts network going forward.

Once this change is effective, any new prescriptions sent to the FAX ONLY Mail Order pharmacies will be rejected (see sample error message below) and the equivalent ELECTRONIC Mail Order pharmacies will need to be used.

You can add/edit/remove these pharmacies by going to Maintenance> Tables> Pharmacies in Practice Partner\LytecMD\Medisoft Clinical. If you need further assistance please contact Technical Support.
