Date of Service for multiple visits

Been in business running Medisoft for eight years but have not run into this one before.

Certain procedures in obstetrics, specifically ante-partum care, procedure codes 59425 (four to six visits) and 59426 (seven to thirteen visits) are reported as one unit. Normally one would expect to list the time period -- from/to -- over which the services were performed even though they are one unit.

This is simple on the 1500 form where box 24A DOS provides space for from/to dates. But we are unable to find any feature in Medisoft that allows us to specify start and end dates for these ongoing procedures.

Can someone tell me how I reflect these dates on transaction entry in Medisoft? Or does the procedure code itself imply multiple visits without specifying start and end dates? Would just entering the last DOS suffice? Would entering each DOS on a separate line work? :(

Yes, the Date To can be modified in Transaction Entry in Medisoft. In Transaction Entry, Select a patient and edit some transactions. Click the button in the upper left corner of the Charge Entry grid that says "Click here to Edit the Grid". Click Add Fields and add the Date To field. Now you can specify a From and To date for each transaction.
