Free Medisoft Tech Help- Medisoft V26, Medisoft Clinical EHR & More- Courtesy Support Resource

HELP!!! I bill for a BMC/LPC (Behavioral Medical Consultant/Licensed Professional Councelor). The majority of the referred patients are workers comp. For 8yrs we haved billed CPT 99214/99242 Office Visit/Consultation due to the fact it is not exactly psychotherapy that she is providing. Medicare has deleted 99242 now and we are not aware of another code that would be appropriate. If anyone can direct me to the correct codes and if these codes need pre-auth or not I would greatly appreciate it. I have the AMA CPT book but it doesn't help with charge amounts and pre authorization issues.

Above issue has not been resolved yet. Maybe someone knows if 96150 - 96154 needs to be pre-authorized. Since Medicare deleted 99242 (consultation code) we are in need of the correct coding.
