Invalid Taxonomy code
After a very long time I recieved the claim rejection from Pacificare of CO saying the rendering provider taxonomy code is invalid.
The provider is a specialist-audiologist and my system automaticaly selected code number 064. This is an incorret code according to Pacificare.
What can I do to fix this?

We just got off the phone with GatewayEDI. There was an issue on GatewayEDI's end that caused rejections with more than just your claims. GatewayEDI thinks this was a one-time issue, but they are looking into it. You should keep looking at the GatewayEDI banner to find out what is going to happen. We expect GatewayEDI to just refile these claims.
Note, if you were filing your claims another way than GatewayEDI, then we will need to know what method of electronic filing you are using in order to answer your question.
