Weird paper claim printing errors

Post by ProCareSabrina » Mon Jun 27, 2016 5:35 pm

Just tried to print my paper claims to pdf (Medisoft Ver 19) and nothing happened, but it did change the status 1 to Sent>

I tried Selecting them and hitting Reprint Claim and after it asks for the layout and to Preview it, it gives me this error:
"Canvas does not allow drawing"

I tried just reprinting one at a time, and I get this error:
"Stream Write Error"

This no matter what claim print layout I choose.

Have never seen this before and printing paper claims worked last time I used it which was last week. Any ideas?

I would guess that there must be something wrong with your PDF printer. Try installing another PDF printer driver and set that to be your default printer and restart Medisoft.

It is not letting me get to Print to PDF option yet.

AFter I select the layout, the box says Printing Progress.... then quickly switches to
"CAnvas does not allow Drawing"

How can I get to the print option to even try a new PDF printer?

I am guessing there is something about the default printer that Medisoft doesn't like. In Control Panel, right-click on the PDF printer and select Set as Default. Then restart Medisoft.
