ICD Indicator not showing up on Medicare paper claims

It shows up on other claims but not with Medicare HCFA 1500 paper claims. Any ideas? I have checked the spot where it says to type ICD 9 prior to October 1 and ICD 10 on October 1 forward, but still nothing.
