Hi,

I have set my insurance code set to ICD10 for 10/01/15 but when I am billing ICD9 codes and ICD10 the icd 9 codes are coming across on the claims and getting denied, my clearing house says :
You probably already know this, but you had a small few rejections today with ICD-10 reason codes. It looks like some ICD-9 codes were marked as ICD-10 codes, and the mismatch caused the rejection. It might be that there’s a button to press in the software that changes those codes to being marked as ICD-9 again, or it might be something in the background of your software. (For example, if you look at the claim for DUEJA000, the codes 71956 and 71946 have a qualifier in the claim marking them as ICD-10 codes

why is this happening, I have to bill ICD 10 and there are still things for ICD9 that have to be billed as well? PLEASE HELP

Dawn did you ever switch all your practices to Revenue Management or are you still using Simple837?

Still using simple 837

You probably need to buy the update to Simple837 assuming they updated it to support ICD-10. We have been setting all of ours up in Revenue Management.
