OK, who is the first to have submitted a claim with ICD-10 codes and it was accepted by the payer? Who is the first to have submitted a claim with ICD-10 codes on it and you got paid? Did you do anything special to prepare or did you find this easy?

i'll check in here after the first 10-01 DOS is paid....It's been easy to make the switch in the software ( I have faith in MediSoft and your support! ) but I won't rest easy until I know the payers have processed a few claims.

On one of the accounts we bill for we have 17 claims accepted by 6 payers including Medicare and Blue Cross. Those claims were submitted on 10/1/2015. To prepare, it was like pulling teeth to get the doc to send us the ICD-10 codes, but we finally got a successful test batch of claims sent about a month ago.

I received payments right away (and I do paperclaims for now) with no problems except for Medicare! We have Medisoft v20 and for Medicare claims, it is not printing anything on the ICD Indicator. All the other claims are. I still haven't figured out what the problem is

Does Medicare require the ICD indicator on paper claims? I would have to look into that.
