Deleting Case from Medisoft v19

I was doing my billing and the software became "unresponsive." When I was able to work with the software again, at least 1,400 procedure entries for an exam code (on the same date) was entered into the system, almost like a key was stuck. I cannot delete the case as the message says it is being used. How can I delete this specific case from my system. It is showing a $94,000.00+ credit to this patient at this time.

I can think of 3 options.

1. Assuming you are doing nightly backups, print off your patient day sheet for everything entered today and your future appointments and then restore from last nights backup and re-enter everything on your printouts.
2. Delete the 1,400 entries one at a time. You can probably get a rhythm of pressing Delete and Enter and finish this before you know it.
3. Work with a Medisoft VAR who can access your data directly and run a SQL script to delete these. We can do this for you for $180, but we are currently backed up doing ICD-10 implementations so it would probably take us about a week to get to this.
