When billing Horizon BCBS of NJ I have to bill with a suffix following my Tax ID & must appear in box 25 of the HCFA 1500 form. Medisoft will not accept a suffix when entering the Tax ID. Is there anyway to get around this?

You can go into Design Custom Bills and Reports and hard code in a tax id. The tax id is defined as a 9-digit number. Do you have a manual from Horizon BCBS that clearly describes this differently?

Thank you for your quick response. I know how to modify the HCFA-1500 but my concern is for electronic claims (I should have mentioned that in my previous post).
