Anyone know if there is a time factor related to this code? My providers that do group do them only as self pay. One is looking into filing to help the patients with cost but sessions can run up to 1.5 hours but can be much shorter. Not finding anything where the code is time based.

You might check with the insurance involved to see if they will allow you to bill multiple units of 90853, but in general, no you cannot.
