Provider ID Not on File

Hi,

I have Medisoft V17.

I have been billing for Medicare and Mass Health and I keep getting denials that the rendering provider ID is not on file. I do not understand why. I have the provider filed under a group and the corresponding NPI (group #), Taxonomy, and Tax ID all filled out under the provider section in Medisoft. This only happens with these two carriers. All my other claims seem to be fine.

Any help would be great thanks!

That is why. The individual NPI should be entered on all Provider ID records. The group NPI should be entered on all Practice ID records.
